Fishing: Blades Cottage holds a Hawes AA fishing permit, this allows guests staying at Blades Cottage to fish on the 15 miles of double bank fishing on the river .

Please note the approach to the property is via a well-maintained gravel track. The cottage has an open tread staircase with a handrail fitted to the wall. The property has a spring fed water supply and the water can be discoloured at times.
