Overstrand is a delightful coastal village which stands next to the popular Victorian town of Cromer. With its quaint village shop, a pub, a great little café with sea views and not to mention a stunning sandy beach, Overstrand offers a delightful alternative for anyone who prefers a quieter seaside holiday base to that of its bustling neighbour. For walkers and those enjoying a picturesque stroll you can pick up the Norfolk Coastal path which hugs the coast. It takes you along the clifftop passing the Lighthouse and Royal Cromer Golf Club, and offers beautiful views where the sea meets the sky. Cromer has a famous pier, a cinema, shops and amenities together with rail links to Sheringham and Norwich. The National Trust properties Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both reasonably close and offer opportunities to learn a spot of history, explore parkland and enjoy tea and cake should you so wish!

The cottage location is ideal for dog walking, although there is no enclosed garden with the exception of a small courtyard. Can be noisy with the next door cafe. Warm and comfortable.

A large comfortable property suited for a large family or several friends. Very well equipped for a self catering break though we chose to eat out. We found the cottage comfortable and spacious. Great location with some good sea views. It was within walking distance to the popular resort of Cromer. We found our stay relaxing and peaceful. Lovely food served at the Caf next door. We would definitely stay here again.

Property and location was spot on. We were a party aged from 73 to 16 plus furry friend. Plenty of space for us all. The views from the front were amazing. Plenty of parking out the front. Quiet area. Village pub was good. A shop if needed. Nice hotel just a short walk away with lovely outdoor seating area. A cafe next door. Beach down the slope Read morein front of property. Hide
