Fantastic location lovely house sadly let down by cheap and broken beds all beds need to be changed for quality beds. After booking we were informed that the single beds had been down graded to children only this should have sent alarm bells ringing three children and one adult needed these beds and we were told that would be ok two childrensRead more beds collapsed and we had to rebuild them also the wooden double in the master room with the onsuite had the centre brace removed and was lying underneath the bed with missing screws we bought new screws and rebuilt this to after spending a night on the sofa and only spotting the centre brace the following day. Also on arrival we were welcomed by 4 large piles of dog mess between the front door and wall next to the garden bench we had to pick this up before letting the children out The fact there is only nine reviews on this property makes me think the bad reviews are not being Hide

This is a top property - right on the beach - in a small, quiet beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. Perfect for a family retreat or any retreat !!

The house is in a fantastic location, which we love as we visit the area regularly, making it easy to access all the amenities. The views from the property are beautiful and definitely a highlight being across from the beach and within walking distance of stunning Colby Gardens. Inside, the comfort was generally good, with plenty of sofas and Read morea lovely bay window that was a big hit with everyone. However, the dining table was on the small side, it wasnt possible to fit 10 people around it, which was a bit limiting for group meals. Theres very little privacy in the garden (the trade off for the location) and the only umbrella for shade over the picnic benches at the front was very unstable so we didnt feel comfortable using it. It would be great if there were a safer, more secure option for shade. Drying space was another challenge. There was just one small indoor airer and nowhere outside to secure the rotary airer provided. With 10 people staying, drying towels and clothes was difficult especially as we noticed the neighbouring property had three airers, so there may have been some mix-up at some point. The ground-floor double room next to the front door is not a full-size double bed, so it was uncomfortable for two people and often the water would run cold when demand higher on showers (returning from the beach). Maintenance was needed during our stay, two twin beds had broken slats, so the occupants had to sleep on mattresses on the floor until a handyman could be arranged to fix these, along with the bathroom locks. However, this was arranged efficiently and no further repairs were needed. Overall, the location and views are lovely, and the living space is largely comfortable, but a few practical improvements would make a big difference, especially for larger groups. Hide

This house was brilliant for 3 generations of our family to visit with a perfect location over looking the beach. There were 10 of us and we had enough space for us all. We have visited this area lots of times over the years but have never stayed in Amroth and we loved it. The only negative was the house was not as clean as we would have hoped and Read morewe did have to do some cleaning when we arrived. There was not a welcome pack as advertised - definitely not a major thing but a nice touch when we were all looking forward to a cup of tea when we arrived after a long journey! Hide
