Medlars is one of three converted farm buildings located in a tranquil rural countryside location close to the small village of Beckley.  The property has been beautifully converted and cleverly combines the old and the new offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with plenty to see and explore on the doorstep.  This charming property has a light and airy feel with a wall of glass sliding doors opening up onto your own paved terrace.  The open plan living area is spacious and has wood flooring with a welcoming wood burning stove.  The kitchen area is fitted and modern with all the equipment you would expect to make your holiday a real home from home.  Exploring the local area by car couldn't be easier with historic Rye and Winchelsea nearby where you can enjoy fossil hunting and beach combing or walk along the 7 miles of golden sands at Camber.  Bodiam and Sissinghurst castles are also close by as are the gardens at Great Dixter.  Bodiam Boating Station is a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch and maybe a paddle along the River Rother or how about a ride on a steam train to Tenterden. This property can be booked in conjunction with Reynards RH1154 and Waders RH1156 to sleep 14.  Please view Escheatlands RH1157.      Shop: 3      Pub:  1.4         Coast:  9.2

Comfortable cottage in an exceptionally peaceful location - good base for us to walk, and visit gardens and NT properties. A lovely week, many thanks.

A cozy well equipped barn conversion. The dog paddock was perfect for our lucher to zoom around , one of the features that attracted us. However there is no fenced garden to the property so she couldn't be let out for a wee without being on the lead which was a bit inconvenient.
