Excellent stay for a week, very nicely decorated cottage in the centre of Leyburn. The cottage had everything you needed for your holiday. Parking was not a problem, we either parked in our street or you can park 15 mtrs away, all for free.

Great location for walking the shawl. The courtyard is small and not private, but does have a table and chairs. The living room is very comfortable and the log fire was much appreciated. Kitchen well equipped, and the local grocers is very conveniently close. Can also recommend Lanas sandwich shop for hot breakfast sandwiches, just around theRead more corner. Although we managed the stairs, it may be useful to advise people in the cottage information that the stairs are quite steep. Other than that we thought the cottage was beautiful well equipped very homely and the location was perfect, we would visit again..

Initially smelled a bit musty but that soon went with open windows. Main room was dark and required some of the many lights on - even in the daytime. Awkward stairs make the cottage unsuitable for unfit or disabled guests. Good catalogue photography made all rooms seem bigger than they actually were. We had a fantastic time staying here as the location is brilliant to get around and see different parts. The cottage was such a cosy place to stay and had everything we needed. Really local to all shops which cater for everyone's needs. The people are really friendly and a lovely dog friendly place to stay.

Lovely surprisingly spacious cottage, well equipped, lovely beds and linen, very central and no need to drive anywhere once you are there unless you want to venture further. A welcome pack would be nice (always had one at other cottages we've stayed at in Yorkshire) just adds a nice little touch, but cottage perfect for a small family, thank you
