A fabulous house with extremely helpful owners. Although large in size, it is very comfortable and we all felt right at home. The garden was also lovely, and we were lucky enough with the weather to enjoy the range of games. Be aware it is only enclosed for dogs if people keep the 2 5-bar gates shut. The owners recommended Dan the Chef who cooked uRead mores a brilliant 3 course meal one evening. We also enjoyed a trip on the Lady Florence and a meal at The Jolly Sailor - both thoroughly recommended. Quite literally a "Great House" for 12 guests, and perfect location for exploring the wonderful Suffolk Coast area. Hide

An amazing property and absolutely perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of space for chilling out or enjoying the variety of garden games. The location offers a variety of activities and visits. The local pubs and stores were also excellent.

Beautiful, beautiful house! Comfortable, spacious, warm . in fact as the weekend was quite mild it was a little too warm. The garden was lovely for all and the young children were able to run and explore to their hearts delight. The billiard table was a hit in the evenings with the adults. We had such a relaxing weekend, thank you!

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location and could have not been a better place for celebrating my 80th birthday with our family. Everything was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and interesting home. The Snooker room was a particular hit ! The lovely weather enabled us to eat our meal in the delightful garden.

Equipment - lacking in tea spoons and small kitchen knives. Perhaps some deck chairs or sun loungers would be beneficial. Cleanliness - we found dirty dishes and saucepans in the cupboards and took a view to wash everything we planned to use before we used it.
