Foden Lodge is set on the Cushing family farm. The location is quiet and approached by a lane on the outskirts of this small rural village. A newly built lodge-style property, it is well presented with attractive furnishings and offers accommodation that is extremely spacious and well equipped making it suitable for guests of all ages. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 1.5 miles.

Thursford is located midway between the towns of Fakenham and Holt and only six miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. It is an excellent location for a holiday, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural setting but also providing easy access to the many attractions in the area, one of which is the Shrine of Our Lady at Little Walsingham.  The village is best known for the Thursford Collection but is also home to Thursford Wood, a medieval wood pasture containing some of the oldest trees in the country.

We loved our staff at Foden Lodge. The house is spacious and very well equipped. In a great quiet location. Hope to return in the future and would highly recommend

As a family we really enjoyed our stay in this very spacious and comfortable house and we all slept well in the lovely comfy beds. Very quiet location but within easy reach of the coast and the lovely town of Holt. Perfect for visiting lots of places in Norfolk. Would recommend the Crawfish Thai restaurant for a delicious takeaway and the BritanniRead morea in Fakenham for fish and chips Hide

As a family we were glad to return again to this very spacious, light and airy, comfortable lodge. Situated in a peaceful location at the very end of a winding private road with lawn areas surrounding the property, a perfect place to relax and unwind. We found this an ideal property for the 3 generations of our family with the convenience of a grouRead morend floor bedroom containing an en-suite shower room designed for those who may be less physically able. Overall (95%) we were very pleased with the cottage. It is in a lovely position, very quiet and peaceful. The inside was great, like a home from home, good equipment in the kitchen, all mod cons., plenty of crockery, glasses etc. All the furnishings were in excellent condition and very clean. A great property for our 3 generation holiday in Norfolk. Lovely and peaceful for a relaxing break. Nearest supermarket / eating out facilities 15-20 min drive (in Holt or Fakenham) We would go again.

House was in a very quiet and peaceful location and we enjoyed our stay. One problem was there was no shop or pup within walking distance and you needed a car to get there.
