A lovely homely cottage with everything you need for a seaside holiday. The location is excellent and being behind the high street it is quieter than properties we have stayed in previously. The courtyard garden is well cared for and a real bonus.

Having stayed many times in Southwold both in cottages and at the swan and The Crown inns, this property was up there with the best of them. Spotlessly clean and well appointed , the cottage was very well situated a stones throw away from shops, pubs and the beach and comfortably slept 6 (4 adults and two children who loved their special attic Read moreroom on the top floor revealed through a hidden door and secret staircase). We enjoyed dining al fresco on the sunny terrace and found back gate access useful. All in all a very enjoyable and successful multi generational stay. Parking was easier than expected - we left the car all week in Chester Road opposite the Sole Bay Inn after unloading outside the cottage on arrival. Hide

30 Victoria Street is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage, we felt immediately 'at home'! The location is so convenient, everything Southwold has to offer is a short walk, so you really feel at the centre of this lovely seaside town. Having found a nearby place to park on East Green, we didn't use the car at all during our whole stay!

The top floor bedroom really is only an attic room, and in my opinion not suitable for children. The bathroom basin taps were thick with limescale. All basins and the kitchen sink could do with a deep clean as they were clearly slow to drain. The outside kitchen gully is partially blocked, it was full of water - slow to drain and the smell made it Read moreimpossible to sit outside. On the plus side, Southwold itself was lovely - the beach was clean and easily accessible. Hide
