This charming Southwold holiday cottage is close to the High Street and just a 5 minute walk from the beach!

Sandpiper is a pretty terraced cottage, situated close to The Common, a great option for a family seaside holiday on the Suffolk coast. This traditional three bedroom property has coastal style interiors with accommodation over two floors. The relaxing sitting room has a calm ambiance with soft grey sofas, there’s a separate kitchen which is fitted with everything you need for your self catering holiday. The dining room is delightful and furnished with a farmhouse style table and chairs offering plenty of seating for six. French doors open up onto the courtyard style garden, perfect for alfresco dining or simply relaxing with a book.  

A holiday in Southwold is on everyone’s wish list, this traditional seaside town is famous for its iconic lighthouse, pier and pretty beach huts. The food is something special too, dine out on some of the freshest seafood around… just switch off your phone and relax, you’re on holiday!

Shop: 0.2 miles. Pub: 0.2 miles. Beach just a 5 minute walk away.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

A very comfortable house. The location is excellent, right by the common and just a few minutes walk to the seafront.

House is in good location and on street parking usually easy to find. The house itself is looking very tired and needs improvements. The back patio is a lovely sun trap but the slabs are so uneven they are dangerous. Also issues with the kitchen floor being uneven and the Lino is split allowing dirt to come through. Kitchen needs upgrading andRead more the cooker has been used so much the signs on the controls have worn off. The downstairs toilet is straight off the kitchen. There is no ventilation to the toilet with no opening window and no extractor fan. Compared to some other similar sized centrally located properties its reasonably priced but it definitely doesnt deserve to be a four star property and isnt one that we would return to unless improvements are made. This is our 4th year at Sand Piper on this Adnams 10k weekend, and it has again surpassed our expectations. Great location for all amenities and the run start. We'll be back next year.
