This ground floor apartment is part of a select development in a highly desirable position being within just a short level walk of the award winning sandy surfing beach of Woolacombe. Offering the 'best of both worlds' the apartment is quietly situated, with no passing traffic, yet within earshot of the crashing waves and a very short walk of the shops, bars and quality restaurants. Offering spacious accommodation the apartment is light and airy.  With under floor central heating and individual thermostats in each room the apartment is warm and cosy no matter what the season. The good size living/dining room has comfy leather sofas one of which converts into a bed.  The dining area leads on through an archway into a good quality kitchen and provides everything you would need to enjoy a relaxed meal with family and friends after an active day on the beach or surrounding countryside.  Two bedrooms share a large wet-room with a power shower in gated enclosure.  Shared grounds surround the apartments with ample parking and shared patio gardens with barbecue areas ideal for alfresco dining. With surfing tuition and equipment hire available locally there is no reason not to enjoy one of the main attractions that is on offer. In addition, the picturesque hilltop village of Mortehoe, with its breathtaking National Trust clifftop footpaths is also less than two miles beyond the smaller sand and shingle cove beaches of Grunta and Barricane. Horse-riding and rock climbing are also popular activities in and around the sands, and the glorious undulating countryside and dramatic coastline of Exmoor is also within a very scenic 10 mile drive.

Tides Edge was looking very welcoming when we arrived for our Christmas break, with cheery decorations and some delicious goodies. The location was ideal quiet and peaceful, but only a short stroll to the shops and on down to the beach, and having two parking spaces was a plus. Tides Edge is a great base for a beach holiday. It's literally a 6 minute walk to the beach. Great outdoor space with a shower for surfers and line for wet suits. Plenty of parking. Perfect space for 2 adults and 2 children.

We went for the first time in March and then we loved it that much whilst we were there we booked it again for June. Amazing location, really clean plenty of parking. The owner was super lovely she even came to say hello and make sure everything was ok which was just so nice and made our day. The apartment was in a perfect location for a surfing / beach holiday. The warm outside shower made all the difference. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and functional. Good value for money . Would definitely stay again
