The property is ideally located just 200 yards from Padstow Harbour, where you can indulge in top-notch seafood and explore the sandy beaches. There’s also a range of boutiques and gift shops to wander around. Walk along the South West Coast Path, starting from the harbour, which will take you to St George’s Cove (just 1 mile away), or rent bikes and cycle the scenic Camel Trail to Wadebridge (5.5 miles). Just under a mile away, on the outskirts of town, the Elizabethan manor house of Prideaux Place is a fascinating place to visit. If you’re after adventure, head to Harlyn Bay Beach (3 miles) for surfing or dog-friendly Rock Beach (1 mile) for long walks along the golden sands and rambles through the dunes. Family-friendly attractions nearby include the Eden Project (20.5 miles), Newquay Zoo (16.5 miles), several National Trust properties and gardens, and Bodmin Steam Railway (15.5 Miles). Tucked away in the heart of Padstow, this elegant three-storey home offers an idyllic retreat for a family and up to two dogs. The interiors have been thoughtfully refurbished to tastefully blend the cottage’s classic charm alongside modern touches for a more luxurious feel.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 3: Twin beds (3') single wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table with drawers. En Suite Shower Room: Thermostatic shower, basin, w.c., heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), chest of drawers, hanging rail, bedside table with drawers. En Suite Bathroom: Bath (thermostatic shower over), basin, w.c., heated towel rail.

SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6''), bistro table, 2 chairs, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table and stool, hair dryer, estuary views En Suite Shower Room: Thermostatic shower, basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: Small shared courtyard with bistro table and chairs. No parking but nearest car park approx. 50 yds. See Padstow Parking for up to date information on parking rates.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 medium dog; £25 per pet, per week
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas c.h./hot water; heated towel rails in en suite shower room and bathroom.
Bedding and Linen: Pillows & duvets included; bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Not provided but can be hired.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hideaway cottage and felt at home straight away. It was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The thoughtful touches such as tea, milk, biscuits and bubbles were very much appreciated.

We loved our stay. Location of cottage was perfect, so close to the harbour 5 minute walk. Only issue was car parking. When we arrived the 1st carpark was closed, so bit of a trek with luggage etc; to long stay carpark. Despite this the cottage was very comfy, bit dated. Facilities were brilliant, everything you could want in the kitchen. All bedroRead moreoms with ensuite were great. One room had a hairdryer in the drawer. We had a fantastic time. Owner left a bottle of prosecco, thank you. Nice touch! Would recommend to friends. Will book again if in Padstow. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay here, having walked passed it hundreds of times and not knowing it was there it really is the hidden hideaway cottage, clean tidy and everything you need, the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch although not in the centre of Padstow its literally 2 minutes walk. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay in Hideaway Cottage. Took us a while to find but got there eventually. The property has all the equipment you need for a break for home. Just a little dated in parts but nothing a paint wouldnt sort. The bedrooms were ok, again adequate storage, perhaps need to be a little more modern. Spacious 3 bed cottage. Bath and bed linen clean and fresh. Quality cook ware. Dishwasher and washing machine. Location was fantastic. No road noise. Perfect communications running up to our holiday. Thank you
