Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

This was a lovely house in a quiet area of town but only 5 minutes away from the high street. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The garden is large and secure, so was perfect for our dog and we enjoyed sitting there in the sun in the early evenings. Quiet street with on on street parking (parking area was secured by a padlock which was difficult to open so we didn't use). Easy walk into the centre of town and the common and golf course (good for dog walking. Generally this cottage exceeded expectations.

We dont consider the use of the word cottage a fair description, it was a small semi-detached house! Also we felt that it was totally unacceptable that we werent able to gain access to the property until 5pm, which means we loose a day of our holiday, although it was 7 nights accommodation the holiday is short by 1 day as we had to vacate at 10Read moream. We have spoken to a number of people who have used Original Cottages (Suffolk Secrets) and they all agree that something needs to be done to allow occupancy around 2 pm which was the time when we first used your company. Very clean and comfortable. Good garden and parking space. Some chipped mugs and glasses were discoloured from dishwasher. Needed some small serving dishes. Great to have it cleaned halfway through the holiday.
