This property is one of the best I have ever stay at in Southwold, so that's a big compliment! Deckchairs is a good "all rounder" with the added bonus of secure, off road parking which is invaluable in this popular seaside town. The open plan kitchen diner is bright and easy to navigate and opens up to the large, fully enclosed garden, which is alsRead moreo something that's invaluable and hard to find in Southwold. The property is not traditional, but modern and decorated with coastal themed artwork and soft furnishings. The TV is SMART and the wifi worked perfectly while I was there. The property manager was relatively easy to reach and they were very helpful, the owner was extremely reasonable, kind and flexible. There's a bath and a shower, so you have your choice of either which is a bonus! The large fridge and freezer are essential for me as I do all my own cooking when I am on holiday, so you can keep everything you need in the size and quantities you need. My strategy is to invest in the property and not waste money eating out all the time. The large dining table can seat six as can the garden table outside. I highly recommend this property as a comfortable, flexible and affordable option in this expensive location, you are only a short walk to the sea! Check out the location on Google maps, you are close to the parks and high street as well. Hide

We have stayed at Deckchairs on many occasions. We must be close to double numbers by now. The location is perfect. We bought our dog for his first holiday with us. A great garden for dogs.

As a family we have stayed in Southwold for 20 years and rented 12 different places. Deckchairs was a comfortable family home with a generous supply of kitchen equipment, wood for the wood burner and a great underfloor heat system in the bathroom. True it is not a quaint cottage but all the more comfortable for not being. Pip our dog loved the gardRead moreen and it was extremely handy been able to park the car inside the garden walls. This was a lovely house in a quiet area of town but only 5 minutes away from the high street. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet street with on on street parking (parking area was secured by a padlock which was difficult to open so we didn't use). Easy walk into the centre of town and the common and golf course (good for dog walking. Generally this cottage exceeded expectations.
