It was great to return to my childhood holiday cottage and our 5 year old grandson loved it. The cottage was so much warmer and better appointed than I remember. Would love to return with more grandchildren.

The cottage was full of character and typical of Robin Hoods Bay . Very good location to cafes, coastal scenes and pubs. We were there in very inclement weather as it was out of season . The only part thRead moreat's excepting of this is the unloading and loading of luggage at the start and end of the stay. This can be slightly difficult due to the intrinsic nature of the towns layout and geography. However it's well worth it . Hide

Our 3rd year staying in this Property. Ideally situated in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay, the cottage offers an excellent base for exploring the Bay and surrounding area. The cottage is well furnished (new sofas this year) and has everything you need for your holiday. The cottage was immaculate on arrival and a lovely welcome basket of Chocolate, CRead moreake and Biscuits, as well as Milk greeted us. There are lots of places to eat and I thoroughly recommend The Bay and Grosvenor Hotels for their Menu Selections. The Fish Box does great Scampi and Chips. We have eaten at Brambles Bistro in previous years, but sadly our reservation was cancelled this year due to closure because of the Yorkshire Moors Wildfires. I enjoyed a daily dip in the sea. The best place to swim is on the sandy beach near Boggle Hole at low tide. Its a great walk to YHA Boggle Hole and an extensive menu awaits you perfect at lunchtime after the walk there. Not forgetting Tea, Toast and Post and The Lifeboat / old Coastguard Station for lunchtime snacks I can also recommend The Bay Museum, which is located a few doors down from the Property. This is steeped in local history, with enthusiastic volunteers who have many stories of old to tell. A Wonderful Cottage and a Lovely Holiday, Hide

We stayed for a week in Peters Cottage. Four adults, one two year old and our dog. The cottage is very well positioned and we loved the fact that we could just wander down to the beach but also go on lots of lovely coastal walks. The weather was amazing and it was busy but the beach is big enough to cope with a lot of people and when we walked bRead moreeyond Boggle Hole Youth Hostel we almost had it to ourselves. It is really beautiful! We saw several pods of dolphins and also a deer from the Cinder Trail. We had a friendly young seagull come to visit us every day but perhaps that is because someone put out bread for him? The cottage was cosy and clean and the welcome pack was very well received thank you. The parking arrangement was very helpful. We could quite easily have stop for another week and would love to come back perhaps in the Autumn/Winter? Hide

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The location is peaceful, with lovely views and plenty of space. The car parking pass is a winner, as access was made easy for day trips and unloading. The cottage is so cosy, and although some people have said its dark, we loved the feeling, like we were sharing in a piece of history. I would say the overalRead morel feel is perfect for an old fishing cottage. The cottage was well maintained and very clean and comfy. We have stayed in many cottages in The Bay, and this one has been our favourite. We have already booked again. Hide
