Pear Tree Cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway by the sea, providing a warm and inviting place to stay. The property looks out onto a shared garden with patio which is dominated by an old Pear Tree. The patio gets the morning sun making it the ideal spot for an alfresco breakfast.
From the property you can go down Salt Pan Well Steps onto Church Street and then towards the town with its wonderful shops and harbour or you can head up the steps onto The Ropery and toward St Mary’s church at the top of the 199 steps and the famous Abbey.
Please note that there are 25 steps from the street level to the front door.
GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: This delightful room has recently been fitted with a new kitchen boasting solid woodwork surfaces, a Belfast sink, built-in electric fan over and gas hob with hood over. Dishwasher, integrated fridge with freezer box and microwave. You can also enjoy a great cup of coffee from the Tassimo coffee maker. There is a drop leave table and three chairs. The lounge area has two, two-seater sofas and a wood burner style gas coal fire, easy to use with no mess. Smart TV and DVD, coffee table and lamp on the built-in cupboard. A steep staircase reminiscent of these properties takes you to the first floor.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, built in wardrobe, chair, mirror on the wall and shelf beneath
Bedroom 2: Single bed with beautiful iron bedstead, bedside cabinet with lamp, built in wardrobe, chair and mirror on the wall. Large, dressing mirror.

OUTSIDE: There is a shared patio area reached by a few steps with table and chairs. There is also a shared lawned area and planted borders. The lawned area is very steep and not suitable for playing on.

Parking : Free parking is available on Church Street and The Ropery. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.
