Our second visit to Gors did not disappoint. We were pleased to meet Mrs Jones after we arrived to gave a chat & thank her for the thoughtful items in the fridge, especially the Bara Brith. Beautiful cottage in a great location. The most comfortable double bed I've ever had while away from home. Lovely, friendly owners. We were gifted with a welcome hamper which included a bottle of wine, a litre of milk and a homemade cake, which was beautiful! As well as tea, coffee, sugar, as well as all the essential cleaning stuff, washing up liqRead moreuid etc. There was also a great multi-fuel wood burner. The only thing lacking was good size logs, plenty of small stuff though, and we bought some ourselves so we had a roaring fire every night. It was so very relaxing. I would definitely stay there again, it's in a great location to use as a base for exploring both mid and north wales. Hide

Gors is a delightful, traditional Welsh cottage but with the added modern facilities needed. Owners were very welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive.

Gors is a lovely little cottage secluded by being on a lower level than the main A458 road and therefore out of sight. It is ideally placed for access to all areas of mid and north Wales.
