This characterful house was once part of a Victorian flour mill and has been tastefully refurbished to create an exceptional and individual holiday home. Just ten minutes' walk from the centre of Fowey and within 100 yards of the harbour's edge, The Counting House is perfectly located to make the most of town and river. The slip-way and dinghy park at Caffa Mill are within two minutes' walk and a dinghy can be hired at this property. Period features combine well with contemporary decor to provide a lovely ambience at The Counting House. The accommodation is arranged on three floors. The first floor is open plan with a well-equipped and attractive kitchen and very comfortable living room. Outside there is a pleasant decked patio area with garden furniture, ideal for soaking up a little Cornish sunshine.

Spacious accommodation. Neat and tidy. Location pretty good with a 10 minute walk to the town.

Very comfortable, everything worked - no issues. Gas hob and electric oven, for me, is always a plus. Pretty garden to relax in and drink up the atmosphere of a special town.

A beautiful place to stay. Location is perfect, and the huge king size bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in. Open plan kitchen, diner, living room is stunning. The perfect base for staying in Fowey. Would definitely return in the future. Thank you so much.

A lovely house, about a 10 minute walk from the main shops. It was clean & comfortable. The only negatives we found are: the parking at Caffa Mill is cheaper at 19 for a week but its almost impossible to find a space unless youre prepared to wait 15 minutes or more. Old Station Yard is less busy but 45 a week, we visited early July. The 3 steps Read moreat the front are very steep, quite high & theres no rail to hold on to. The windows are older, original casements, lovely but dont keep much noise out & are a bit draughty. In the master bedroom, the window coverings let in a lot of light, so if youre photo-sensitive it will wake you very early in the morning. Hide
