The house was perfect for my family group, 4 double bedrooms with plenty of space downstairs for everybody, the location is perfect and only a 5 minute walk from everything that you would want to visit in Padstow. Very clean and comfortable with everything that you could possibly need for your stay. Excellent and would definitely book again.

The cottage was very dated and in need of some updating especially for the rating given for our visit it was not cleaned to an acceptable standard - we have spent the last 30 years rented accommodation in Cornwall and this was the worst for cleanliness - the furniture had not been moved some rubbish and dirt where trapped behind items like sofas unRead moreder the bed etc - there were spider webs and flies in then glass panel above the rear door - we found a nail in the hallway and childrens toy under the sofa - not a great experience. Holidaycottages.co.uk response:- Thank you for your feedback the owner of Alexandra House will address the points you have raised and send their apologies. Hide

We love coming to Padstow for the half term May break each year and my only criticism is that they don't give you first refusal on that same house and week break for the following year like other companies do. As we def would book again and again for the same house each year

The cottage itself is perfect - such a wonderful location and very comfortable furnishings apart from the 2 wicker sofas which need an update . Everything else was perfect and the beds were extremely comfortable - would definitely book again!

A beautiful comfortable home from home. My heart is happy here. So spacious, not over modernised but with everything you could want for a family or group of friends getaway. Amazing size garden and house right in the centre of Padstow.
