The owners are developing wild flower meadows and were winners in the Kent Wildlife Trust Local Wildlife Sites award programme. There are many local walks along the quiet lanes and countryside including the nearby Gusbourne Estate where they produce award winning sparkling wine, so this lovely location provides a calm and peaceful escape from our busy world. It is also close to the Saxon Shore Way, perfect for keen walkers and nature lovers. It is within a short drive from the picturesque market town of Tenterden with its many shops, cafes and restaurants and no trip to Tenterden is complete without a trip on a steam train through the pretty Rother Valley to Bodiam Castle. Pets: No pets allowed. However, if your dogs have stayed before, please contact the homeowner to discuss.
Notes: Adults only. No smoking allowed anywhere on the farm. The Lodge is not suitable for persons with mobility issues, and the shower also has a step. The owners do have working dogs who are very friendly and will come and say hello.
