Nature lovers are spoilt for choice with a reserve in the village, plus Dunwich Heath (3.5 miles) and RSPB Minsmere (2.5 miles) within easy reach. The coast offers several traditional seaside resorts, from the lighthouse and pier at Southwold (9 miles) to the artistic town of Aldeburgh (9 miles). Arranged over two storeys, this three-bedroom cottage offers a beautiful blend of original features and contemporary design. The living room is cosy and comfortable with relaxing sofas and a brick fireplace with a wood burner, set beneath a beamed ceiling. The cottage is a very characterful and a lovely experience to stay in. The steps are steep and deep, so not suitable for anyone with infirmity. The village is only a short drive from coastal resorts which we were glad of as our week was during the hot spell of the last week in June. We also visited Sutton Hoo and Framlingham castle, both not faRead morer and lovely days out. Hide
