Located in the heart of the old town this delightful cottage is full of character and charm. Church Lane is a quiet spot but only a minute's walk from the harbour and restaurants which makes this cottage an ideal retreat at any time of the year. The cottage has been recently refurbished ensuring smart modern facilities with a fully equipped kitchen and modern spacious luxury bathroom while retaining the beams, slate floor, nooks and crannies that contribute to its appeal. Padstow is similarly full of quirky character with beautiful unspoilt harbour and a maze of picturesque narrow streets. Within easy striking distance are a number of gorgeous sandy beaches great for families or surfing and coastal footpaths with outstanding views. The Eden Project is within a half hour drive and Tate St Ives is 1 hour away.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge: Three seater sofa, armchair, Smart TV, window seat, cabinet.
Snug: Cosy corner with sofa, coffee table.  
Kitchen/dining area: Built in electric oven and microwave, gas hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, patio doors to tiered garden area.

FIRST FLOOR 1:
Spiral staircase from snug up to separate floor

Bathroom: Freestanding bath, walk in rain shower (duel head), basin, w.c., heated towel rail.

Very steep stairs from hallway to first floor of cottage

Bedroom 1: King size bed (5'), bedside units, wardrobe, chest of drawers, wicker chair. 

SECOND FLOOR:
Very steep stairs leading to second floor

Bedroom 2: Open plan with sloping beamed ceiling, twin beds (3'), chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, bedside table.

GARDEN & PARKING: The garden is on three levels; a small patio just outside the back door with steps up though a flower garden to a secluded pretty terrace with bistro table and 4 chairs, BBQ and garden shed. The other stairs are pretty steep and Bedroom 2 may not be suitable for young children due to this. The property may not be suitable for certain parties.

Quirky layout and yes, the stairs can be a challenge, but good strong handrails make them completely manageable. The lounge is dark, but given the location this cant be helped, other than with lighter furnishings perhaps, but we were out everyday, and the lovely lamps turn the space into a lovely cosy haven on an evening, so on an evening its a lovRead moreely space to spend time reflecting on the day. The kitchen and bathroom were exceptional, you cant ask for more really. Hide

A fabulous cottage tucked at the back of Padstow by the church- we loved the bell practising whilst sat outside. We also loved the interior of the cottage and found it to be well equipped. It is the perfect place to be able to nip down to the harbour or to just chill in the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again in the futRead moreure. Hide

Lovely little cottage in a great location for Padstow. Just a few minutes walk to the harbour and all the shops and restaurants.
