Literally on the doorstep of the award-winning beach at Woolacombe, this modern apartment was completely renovated in 2017 by its surf-loving owners to provide the perfect base for families or friends who want to be close to everything. The Beach Snug is just 150 metres from the beach and all its nearby restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. And it has the added bonus of a secure garage to store surfboards, wet suits, walking or biking equipment, pushchairs and kayaks. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious, light and airy with the contemporary furnishings and differing muted wall paint creating a feeling of peace and tranquillity. The modern kitchen area has a dining table placed near the window to enjoy the countryside and distant sea views; whilst the living room has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the wall-mounted Smart television. Both bedrooms are beautifully decorated and share the use of a shower room with large walk-in shower. Outside the apartment, there is one allocated parking space and the garage. The short walk from The Beach Snug to the beach will take a couple of minutes. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Woolacombe itself is a lively village with great pubs, restaurants and places to stay. For the more experienced golfers amongst you, there is a 9-hole pitch and putt course in the grounds of Woolacombe Bay Hotel. A small admission fee is charged but hours of entertainment are guaranteed.

We loved our stay at the beach snug. The location was great for the beach and pubs and restaurants. The place was larger than we thought- bit enough for 2 adults , a tall teenager and a big dog! We would definitely return.

Ideally placed for beach and eateries with parking. There are a flight of steps to door, but there is a strong handrail also a garage to safely store Surfboards etc. I was well pleased.

We've just returned from a week at the beach snug - the property was great, it was very clean and the location was amazing. We could pop back from the beach whenever we needed and just minutes into town. The only downsides would be that the parking is tight (very large vehicles may struggle) and there can be a lot of sound from neighbouring apartRead morements. Also drying space is limited - shared rotary driers outside. If you all have wetsuits, swimwear & towels it can be hard to find somewhere for everything. These things can't be changed and shouldn't put anyone off, just something to be aware of. Hide
