Annabel's Cottage is a beautiful property situated in the heart of Whitby on the West Cliff in a quiet yard off Flowergate. It offers spacious and attractive accommodation for up to seven people and has a small courtyard with outside seating and access to a lockable outhouse for storing bicycles, pushchairs or other large items. There are some lovely views towards the Abbey from the top floor. Conveniently located close to the beach and all amenities, the cottage is ideal for family seaside holidays.

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance: Hallway.

Lounge: TV with FreeSat, feature fireplace

Kitchen/Dining Room: Fridge with an icebox, gas hob with electric oven and grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, dining table and chairs.

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, travel cot.

En-suite Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet, washbasin, heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2: Two single beds, wardrobe, cupboard space.

Family bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet, washbasin, heated towel rail

SECOND FLOOR

Fairly steep stairs.

Bedroom 3: Single room (small double bed), wardrobe.

Bedroom 4: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers.

Pets: 2 well behaved pets welcome.
Parking: On-street parking with scratch cards on a first come first served basis.
Garden/Patio: Courtyard garden with keys provided for outhouse for storing bikes/pushchairs etc.
Heating: Gas central heating.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Towels are not provided. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Cot, high chair and stair gate at the bottom of the stair available.

A well located cottage down a quiet alleyway off Flowergate, a few minutes walk from the centre. The owner will provide more parking permits ( there were 6 of us in 3 cars) which allow you to park for free in Zone W. Well appointed with kitchen appliances and good sized mugs and glassware. The cottage was centrally located, and handy for getting about Whitby centre. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped (apart from having to take own towels). You have to park in a loading bay nearby (cottage located down an alley), then park your car some streets away, with free parking ticket which was provided.

A great location for many amenities and the centre of Whitby. The cottage is shown as sleeps 6 but with three bedrooms with double beds and a bedroom with two singles, in theory it could handle 8 people. Although with two bathrooms, probably 6 is better. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay! NB. Parking for loading and unloading luggage can be probRead morelematic as Flowergate is a very busy road with limited parking for disc users. However with a little planning and awareness of other parking zones around the cottage this can be done. I'd recommend downloading the parking zone map available on the internet. The parking wardens are on the ball and will give fines. Be warned! Hide

Really enjoyed our break at cottage. Was spacious enough for us all. Comfortable beds. Feels like a home and warm. Ideal location off Flowergate to walk into town, after parking the car in the correct zone. Brilliant views of the Abbey, and rooftops. Is in a quiet alley apart from the seagulls!!

Fantastic cottage with everything we needed. Very clean and modern. Superb location- quiet alley but so central off flowergate. Bigger than you think on first seeing it. Superb views of the abbey from bedroom windows. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, in the middle of Whitby but very quiet. House very well equipped, clean with comfortable beds. Would stay again if visiting around that area.
