East Runton is a small village and a popular holiday destination, with stunning cliff top views out to the North Sea and a long sandy beach, it’s a great base for exploring the North Norfolk coast. Just 1.5 miles to Cromer and 3 miles to Sheringham, there is plenty to keep you entertained. East Runton is on the coastal path, which starts where Sheringham High Street meets the promenade and ends at Cromer Pier. It’s a picturesque walk along mainly grassy clifftop paths with paved paths along the sea front. For all the foodies, you’ll be perfectly placed to sample the local delights from Cromer crab to Brancaster mussels, artisan cheeses to freshly picked Samphire. Rocky Bottoms, just a 15 minute walk from the Cottage, serves beautifully fresh sea food. The Gunton Arms set in a historic deer park and the Michelin starred Morston Hall are less than half an hour’s drive. The village itself has two pubs, restaurants, several small shops and at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand, perfect for walks all year round and is dog friendly too. You won’t have to travel far to make this a holiday to remember.

This is a lovely house in a great location, 5 minute walk from a dog friendly beach. Loads of space, great shower and good towels. Has everything you need including a nice outside space. There is a pay & display car park just round the corner that costs 34 for the week & you can use the ticket in any north Norfolk council car park. For a comparisonRead more a days parking in Southend costs 19! I would definitely recommend this house. Hide
