Highview is a good choice for families or couples who like a little bit of peace and quiet, but want to be close to the shops, restaurants, pubs and beach in Woolacombe. Elevated on the outskirts of the village, this detached bungalow has a lovely large garden, a separate lounge, kitchen and dining room, plenty of off-road parking and a conservatory. From the drive, 20 steps take you to the front door, then the accommodation is all on one level thereafter. The living room has superb views over Woolacombe towards the award-winning beach and comfy sofas to relax in after a busy day exploring North Devon. The well-equipped kitchen has modern white units, an electric oven with a gas hob, as well as a microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and slimline dishwasher. This leads into a small conservatory which is heated throughout the year. The two pretty bedrooms share the use of the bathroom, which has a separate toilet. Outside, at the back of the property is an outdoor hot and cold shower and a separate place to wash and hang up wetsuits. The rear garden has a raised patio with stunning views and there is a sloping lawn area and there is an additonal patio at the front of the property. Guests also get to use the garage for securely storing outdoor equipment.

Highview is a short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.

Lovely bungalow in an amazing location. I couldn't believe the view and loved just staring out the window at it! Trek up the hill is hard going, but the home is worth it. Highly recommended

Wow, what a find! This beautiful bungalow really felt like a home away from home. Ideally located for visits to Woolacombe Beach, and from the bungalow, you get breathtaking views of the beach and beyond. It's also the perfect base for exploring North Devon and simply relaxing and soaking up the ever-changing scenery. We enjoyed cups of tea oRead moren the front terrace on sunny days and equally enjoyed cosying up inside when the weather turned, still able to enjoy the view. A lovely property with fabulous sea views. A steep walk up the hill but we were prepared for that and only a 10 min walk from the beach. Clean cottage with good facilities and lovely views. Walking back to the property would be difficult for older people (us for example). But we knew that in advance so did not cause us any problems. If you want lovely views then that usually comes with hills! We enjoyed walks around Morthoe and on Woolacoombe beach when the tide was out.

We had a great time at this property, it is very comfortable, well equipped and has a wonderful view of the bay. Outdoor space to sit at the front or the rear of the property, both of which we made use of as we were very fortunate to have beautiful weather. Had the most amazing stay. The views are second to none and great for the soul, the workout up the hill everyday was good for the body.. very comfortable and well equipped place to call home for the week.

A great location with stunning views from the bedroom, lounge and dining area with a large patio at the front to also soak up the views. The kitchen had everything we needed and overall we had a very comfortable stay. The outside shower being warm for those rinses when back from the beach was a nice surprise, and thoughtful touches to have somewherRead moree to be able to rinse and hang wet suits and a garage to store things in also very handy. I quite enjoyed watching my girls get fitter over the course of the week with the 10 minute walk back up a steep hill after each venture to the beach :) The views at the top along with everything Woolacombe has to offer never led them to complain!
