Highview is a good choice for families or couples who like a little bit of peace and quiet, but want to be close to the shops, restaurants, pubs and beach in Woolacombe. Elevated on the outskirts of the village, this detached bungalow has a lovely large garden, a separate lounge, kitchen and dining room, plenty of off-road parking and a conservatory. From the drive, 20 steps take you to the front door, then the accommodation is all on one level thereafter. The living room has superb views over Woolacombe towards the award-winning beach and comfy sofas to relax in after a busy day exploring North Devon. The well-equipped kitchen has modern white units, an electric oven with a gas hob, as well as a microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and slimline dishwasher. This leads into a small conservatory which is heated throughout the year. The two pretty bedrooms share the use of the bathroom, which has a separate toilet. Outside, at the back of the property is an outdoor hot and cold shower and a separate place to wash and hang up wetsuits. The rear garden has a raised patio with stunning views and there is a sloping lawn area and there is an additonal patio at the front of the property. Guests also get to use the garage for securely storing outdoor equipment.
Highview is a short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.
