Y Beudy is a tastefully converted single storey cottage (see also WAG431), near the owners' farmhouse. This fabulous location between the sea and the mountains gives great open views of the Snowdon range and Anglesey. Situated between village and marina at Port Dinorwig (Y Felinheli) and the university town of Bangor, about 3 miles from both and a short drive, 6 miles to Caernarfon for the historic castle and Welsh Highland railway.
A good standard of decor and furnishings is maintained throughout this cottage. The open plan living/dining room and kitchen has leather style sofas, a woodburner, TV/DVD and Freeview. The fitted kitchen diner has a tiled floor with a table and chairs, and includes a washing machine. There are two nicely presented bedrooms; the twin has a small TV whilst the double has matching pine furniture. The tiled bathroom has a separate shower cubicle. Oil central heating under the owners' control. An open patio to the front has superb views and garden furniture.
This area is excellent for all sorts of outdoor activities. Llanberis is 5 miles away at the foot of Snowdon for walking and for the Mountain and Lake Railway, Padarn lake for watersports and the National Slate Museum. The famous ZipWorld zip wire is also 5 miles away at Bethesda. The National Trust's Penrhyn Castle and Plas Newydd are both a short drive away along with the fabulous sandy beaches of Anglesey.
