Enjoyed the ability to leave the car alone for a whole week. Excellent public transport, mainline trains, Heritage railways and frequent buses at cheap rates.

We loved the cottage and the terrace garden. The furnishings fitted in beautifully and the pictures were lovely. Altogether a really nice place to stay. We had the bonus of really beautiful and very warm weather but it was always cool inside. So no worries about being too warm, in fact I was looking forward to using the log burner but didn't need tRead moreo. Hide

Lovely well appointed cottage in an excellent location for exploring. The Ffestiniog railway runs along the back of the property and the station only 3 mins away. Great fun for enthusiasts.

Proximity to railway line and Penryn station is a added attraction. Short walk to village centre and the many footpaths give easy access to countryside and local shops.

We have been to 2 Efail Wen a number of times and would highly recommend it. It suits us perfectly due to its location for the Ffestiniog Railway. We will be back!
