Excellent holiday accommodation, well equipped, warm, generous sized rooms, Garden is great for most dogs, helpfull friendly neighbours, well siutated for Minsmere and local heathland. Dog friendly pub, but only serves food Fri-Sun ( we were there in May, maybe more opening in Summer?). Emmerdal farm shop excellent.

Very comfortable cottage, with everything we needed for our stay. However, you need to be aware that the parking in front of the cottage is a very short diagonal space, and for a larger car (bigger than a Golf), the back of your car will stick out a bit. However, it is a very quiet road, so this wasn't a problem.

This is a delightful cottage. Very comfortable, clean tidy, and had everything we could have wanted. The owners have worked hard to provide this first class accommodation. Thank you.

Cosy cottage in a very quiet village. A parking space is provided but only big enough for a medium sized car. Friendly village pub serving meals from a limited menu. Good recreation ground for dog walking together with some footpaths. Good sized garden for dogs.

Heather View was a perfect base for our first holiday in Suffolk. Middleton is a beautiful, quiet village within easy reach of Southwold, Aldeburgh etc. We loved the garden which was safely enclosed for our dog and enjoyed chatting with the friendly neighbours. The cottage is very well equipped and although the kitchen is small there were plenty ofRead more utensils, cutlery and crockery. The dining area was a bright, comfortable area for meals with French doors, overlooking the garden. The shower in the main bathroom worked well and it was useful to have a 2nd wc downstairs in the utility room. Although Middleton does not have a shop, we did not feel isolated. A slow saunter to the Bell pub on the village green provided a welcome alternative to home cooking and we bought provisions at the nearby Emmerdale Farm Shop and the supermarkets in Saxmundham. The convenient parking bay at the front of the property was fine for our mid-sized SUV. The road outside the property is very quiet and few cars pass via this route. We would highly recommend Heather View to those seeking a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area of Suffolk. Hide

Very comfortable cottage in a sleepy village offering lots of local walks, although care does need to be taken on the very narrow roads. Easy and very pretty drives to local coastal towns. Large garden with sun all day, backing onto fields with horses and pheasants. Kitchen well equipped with everything you would need to self cater. ComfortableRead more beds and plenty of hot water. A lovely clean and comfortable cottage. Had everything I needed. Quiet location to the edge of the village but easy walking to the pub (don't forget a torch). Easy drive to nature reserves(Minsmere, Westleton, Dunwich etc) which was my priority. Also the outdoor space was great, seats on decking and picnic table at the bottom of the garden.
