Wenhaston is a pretty village, with an excellent country pub within walking distance of the cottage, which serves food and local ales. There are also three lovely areas of common within the parish which are ideal for local walks. There are coastal resorts and nature reserves within easy reach. Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick, with Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half an hours drive. Halesworth, four miles away, has a regular train service from Norwich and London. There is a regular bus service through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh.
