Abbey Mews is a holiday home in Torquay Devon. This delightful mews house is set in a quiet location yet is just a short level walk to the extensive local amenities of St Marychurch and Babbacombe. These include a fine selection of shops and eateries as well as the Model Village, the Bygones Museum, the Theatre and the access paths to Oddicombe and Babbacombe beaches. A short drive or an excellent local bus service will take you to the harbour, seafront and shopping centre in Torquay's centre, or in the opposite direction, to Teignmouth and Dawlish.

St Marychurch is a charming suburb close to the delights of Babbacombe Bay and Torquay and close to the South West Coastal Path.  It has a delightful pedestrianised precinct and everywhere is within easy walking distance. You’ll find lots of independently owned boutiques and family-run businesses here and St Marychurch’s unique personality is why so many people fall in love with the place and come back year after year.  One of the very oldest settlements in South Devon, St Marychurch’s two historic church towers dominate the Torquay skyline.

This house is lovely. It has 3 brilliant sized bedrooms and a great bathroom. Plenty of space downstairs and a great kitchen with the (highly useful!) added bonus on a washer/drier and a dishwasher. The house is quite deceptive and highly recommended.

This was our second Christmas stay at this property and was as enjoyable as two years ago. I was brought up in this area and love the location of the property and its proximity to where my parents live. As we have 2 young adult children the three bedrooms are ideal for us and the downstairs space is plenty big enough for us all to spread out. Co opRead more and Sainsburys less than 5 minutes walk away and Oddicombe Beach and Model village easily walkable and well worth a visit. Beds are comfortable, towels provided (bring your own bath sheet if you want a big towel though!) and plenty of loo roll. Kitchen well equipped but I did miss my air fryer. Nice shower and heating worked well. Easy to follow instructions provided for all equipment. WiFi was good and worked well with 4 phones, 2 laptops and an iPad on it at times! We also took our firestick to access Netflix etc. Hide

The cottage is perfectly situated for pubs, restaurants, cafes. There is an excellent bus service into Torquay and beyond from just around the corner. This is the 4th time staying in this cosy cottage and will be back again.

We were four friends and we spent great week in the cottage. Comfort is high level, neighbourhood is quiet, the area is full of charming shops... Really pleasant, we warmly recommand this renting.
