Property code: OC-BRAML

This detached bungalow sleeping 6 people, is in a nice quiet location near to the centre of Croyde and a short walk to the beach. Bramleys has a fully enclosed garden at the rear with a level lawn and patio, a spacious living room and good-sized bedrooms. The front door leads into a porch area which houses the tumble dryer and has ample space for shoes and coats. The lounge has large comfortable leather settees enabling the whole party to get together, whilst the kitchen/diner has a large dining table near to the patio doors which open out onto the lovely back lawn. All of the three bedrooms are light and airy due to the large windows. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and Bramleys also benefits from an extra cloakroom. Outside, the driveway can easily accommodate two cars and there is on-street parking in the cul-de-sac. The rear garden is very private, with a sunny patio and garden furniture – perfect to enjoy summer days and balmy evenings.  A few minutes’ walk from Bramleys takes you to the heart of the village with a choice of surf shops, and family friendly pubs. An off road footpath from the village leads to the beach - famed for being one of the finest surf beaches in the world, with high profile surfer’s regularly visiting to catch some waves. The record holder for the biggest wave ever surfed, Andrew Cotton, is a regular visitor, and professional surfer Lyndon Wake also runs a surf school by the entrance to the beach. Croyde beach itself is guarded at either end by large headlands, making it a sheltered haven for beach lovers, and sunbathers.

Had a great stay at Bramleys, wonderfully equipped and spacious. Nice big kitchen, comfy living room and comfy beds all accessible on ground floor. The only drawback is it only has one WC, not very accessible, which could be a problem if max 6 people stayed. Great location a couple of minutes walk from village centre. Quiet and relaxing.
