Wells is a popular town set behind a small harbour on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. It is possible to travel from the town by narrow-gauge steam railway to the sandy beach, which is backed by pine woods. The beach is one mile from the town and has a car park and tea rooms. It is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year and the area is famed for ornithology and has many excellent walks. Amenities in the town include amusements, great pubs, restaurants and many interesting shops.

Good location for walking and buses . Very comfortable and well equipped . We enjoyed our stay despite very wet weather .

very nice property, lovely furnishing, everything provided that we needed. My only problem was with parking, not easy on a bank holiday, and half term.

Lovely cosy and comfortable flat. We appreciate that it had not been used for a few weeks but it soon warmed up. We'd stayed before, about 10 years ago, and enjoyed it as much this time. It was everything we needed. Peace and quiet, we just chilled out. If only it hadn't rained as much! But that's what makes England's green and pleasant land.

Lovely apartment, great location. Had a great time. Constructive criticism:There was an issue with the TV reception and has been for a while going by the guest book! There was no tea, coffee, sugar, paper kitchen towels. The hair drying facilities (plug, mirror, seat) were like most places, not available. don't know why!!

Well located within a quiet area of Wells. Was concerned about lack of parking but we always found somewhere on the road to park. We would happily stay there again.

Great location, attention to detail required, cobwebs around window catches and some skirting boards need a wipe. Had a great time, close to all amenities and the beach.

A very spacious apartment with some interesting decor, the location on The Buttlands is very good and we liked the small seating area at the front. The bathroom is very small and wouldnt recommend for 4 adults to share fortunately we were only a couple. Disappointed that there was no welcome pack at all other than 1 toilet roll, 1 dishwasher tabletRead more and a small tube of washing up liquid, weve always had a weeks supply in other lets. On arrival the television wasnt working but Holiday Cottages replaced it the next day. Hide

Very roomy, comfortable, well equipped flat in a most convenient location for coastal walks. The place felt a bit like an art gallery with all the paintings and ornaments. Very nice. We had a lovely time.

A really lovely quirky characterful cosy apartment, we were surprised at how spacious it was, even though we were their easter weekend, and everywhere was buzzing, it was still lovely and peaceful, Really enjoyed our 5 nights and will return.

Attractive ground-floor flat, in The Buttlands. Bedclothes arrived for us at 4pm ! when we were just arriving ; This was disappointing.

Spacious apartmet in lovely leafy area. Parking on road outside (never an issue) would benefit from thorough deep clean.
