A delightful family holiday home in the heart of Southwold with shops, cafes and the beach close by... Simply arrive, unpack and relax!

Poppy Corner is a spacious self-catering holiday accommodation on the Suffolk coast. The property is furnished well and has a large open plan kitchen/dining area with a lovely range cooker. The sitting room is very comfortable furnished with a couple of sofas and armchair.  Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with walk-in shower and WC. Upstairs you’ll find a further two bedrooms and a family bathroom. 

The garden is perfect for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast or after a day on the beach. There’s a deck with table and chairs and further paved and gravel areas. A lovely feature of the outside space is the ‘beach house’ style summer house, perfect for children to play in and for adults to retreat to with a glass of wine. 

If you’re looking for a holiday home to suit all the family, Poppy Corner is a good option - there’s something for everyone on the doorstep - close to the independent shops, cafes, pubs and the popular Swan Hotel. Stroll along the prom with its pastel shade beach huts, and visit the iconic pier and harbour or head to the beach with the buckets and spades… the perfect base for a family seaside escape.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

It is a well equipped, very clean property and homely and nothing missing. Location is ideal with roadside parking available. Everything in Southwold within walking distance. Would definitely recommend it with excellent eatery within two minutes!

Poppy corner is a delightful house situated in a peaceful cul de sac perfectly located for all the amenities Southwold has to offer. The annexe is a bonus.

Nice newly fitted kitchen and shower room, good sized garden perfect for our dogs. Great location just a short walk into middle of Southwold and beach.

We had a really lovely stay at poppy corner-2 adults, 2 boys aged 11+13 and our dog. The location is perfect; on a very quiet road and under 10 minutes walk to the pier and town. The house has everything that you need and had a very homely feel, making us feel very welcome and settled and we really didn't want to leave! We hope to return sometime.

The cottage is in a fabulous location ideal for walking to the beach, promenade and town centre. The downstairs bedroom and shower room were perfect for my Mum who has restricted mobility. We loved the kitchen dining room and outside space. The beds were comfortable. The cottage was very well equipped and the kitchen in particular was good enough for a corden bleu chef.

Lovely warm and well equipped house, with excellent ground floor bedroom and shower bathroom that is great for the elderly or those less mobile. Close to town and the beach.
