Crummock Water is a mile to the north, and the area is dominated by the dramatic peaks of Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag and Whiteless Pike, all within 3 miles. Other major lakes, including Ennerdale Water, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake are all within 15 miles, offering breathtaking walks and opportunities for water sports. Nearby Cockermouth (10.5 miles) and Keswick (9.5 miles) have some fantastic places to eat and drink, with local landmarks including Mirehouse and Gardens, Puzzling Place and the Lake District Wildlife Park, all within 15 miles.

Heading outside, the enclosed garden has a sweet lawn and outdoor furniture, offering a relaxing spot for dining alfresco at the end of a fantastic day and for taking in the majestic views of the surrounding woodlands and fells. Private parking is available for one car outside the cottage.
