A gorgeous retreat nestled in a country garden on a private lane, this delightful hideaway is perfect for couples and small families. The two-bedroom cottage offers single-storey accommodation for four guests. Situated near Maybole, 6.5 miles from Ayr, the cottage is a perfect spot to explore Ayrshire and the Isle of Arran. The local area is perfect for walking, golfing and watersports. If heritage and history are your interests Culzean Caste and Country Park is 5 miles west, here you can explore the castle and country park, with its secret follies, woods and wild deer. Dumfries House is 20 miles east and boasts an unrivalled collection of Chippendale furniture as well as a 2000 acre estate with arboretum and gardens. Golf enthusiasts have a wide choice of courses from Open Championship standard at Turnberry and Troon and many municipal and club courses. Alloway, birthplace of poet Robert Burns is 6 miles away and is the backdrop to many of his poems. Fantastic sandy and pebble beaches are close by. The surrounding hills are easy walking and many of the local villages have a network of trails.

Step inside this cosy cottage to find contemporary country-style interiors and a warm welcome. Unlace your walking boots or slip off your wellies in the hall before heading through to the lounge/diner for a little downtime. Settle on the comfortable seating to catch up on your favourite programme on TV or enjoy a couple of chapters of your latest novel.
