Situated on a peaceful farm, this romantic cottage is perfectly positioned for couples exploring Northumberland's rich history and natural beauty with up to two dogs in tow. Within 20 miles, you'll find five ancient attractions including Chillingham Castle, Bamburgh Castle, National Trust – Cragside, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and Dunstanburgh Castle. The property offers direct access to countryside walks, with the Northumberland National Park providing breathtaking vistas, especially from Cheviot summit which, on clear days, offers views stretching to the Lake District. The beautiful Northumberland coastline at Bamburgh and Seahouses is easily accessible, with water sports available at Beadnell Bay.

The interior combines comfort and country charm throughout. Upon entering, you'll find a wide hallway with hooks for outdoor gear and a convenient downstairs WC. The welcoming lounge features a comfortable sofa and a warming wood burner, perfect for romantic evenings, along with a TV with a Firestick for entertainment. The countryside-themed kitchen/diner is equipped with everything needed for cooking up hearty breakfasts and romantic meals, which can be enjoyed at the traditional breakfast table in the centre of the room. At the end of each exciting day away, head up to the first floor and uncover an inviting super-king-size bedroom with zip-and-link beds that convert to twins on request. A well-appointed bathroom serves the bedroom and completes the interior. 

While there is no dedicated garden, the property offers a bench seat at the front where you can enjoy morning coffee before setting off on walks directly from the doorstep. There's also a bench seat at the rear in the stable yard, where you can watch the horses come and go (dogs must be kept on leads in this area). Private parking is available for two cars.

Peaceful location within a delightful rural setting. Very restful with lovely walks along the lanes, including a ford and bridge. Close to many local attractions, villages and shops. Fully equipped kitchen, including washing machine and Sheilas Maid suspended from the kitchen ceiling! Wonderfully restful after a hard days exploring. Stable yard to Read moresit in and enjoy the evening sun, the whole place is light, spacious and fresh. Looking forward to going back at some point in the future. Hide

It was well equipped, comfortable and warm. There wes a welcome pack which was very good. All the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated.
