This was a great cottage in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to the city and with the added bonus of the shops, cafes etc on Bishy road. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The heating was a bonus on an unseasonably cold week. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again

We had a lovely stay and have found a new home away from home! The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. There were thoughtful touches throughout including biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and dishwasher tablets. Lovely warm and cosy living room and the beds and bedding were so clean and comfortable. The bath and shower were both brilliant! GreaRead moret location, took us about 10-15 minutes to get into York centre. We cant wait to go back! Hide

It was a lovely house and really nicely decorated. The little touches were really welcoming. It was central to the city centre and was around a 20 minute walk. There were shops around a 3 minute walk away. This includes a bakery and restaurants. The property was clean and had all of the necessities that you would need.

Owners had thought of everthing. In the Kitchen we found Kitchen roll, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, salt, disherwasher tablets, fresh flowers and toiletries, all you could need. Very impressed with the high standard for guests.

Great location, quiet residential with friendly residents. Very clean and exceedingly well stocked, everything is there that you could possibly need. Although the map of York looks as though it is a good walk to the centre it is actually very short and easy. Number 41 is a lovely house. Meticulously clean, with everything we could want for a comfortable stay. Lots of thought had clearly gone into what guests would need. And the little things for dogs was a pleasant surprise (I've never seen that in a holiday cottage before!).
