This welcoming cottage sits centrally in the attractive village of Broughton, with its popular local pub only 50 metres away. Nearby Stockbridge is arguably one of the prettiest towns in Hampshire, with its wide high street and an array of independent retailers, pubs and high-end eateries; all located around 4.5 miles to the west. For those looking for a more cultured day out, explore the historic cities of Salisbury (12 miles east) and beautiful Winchester (13 miles west). For families, the cottage sits on the edge of the New Forest, with its array of attractions, including Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, which can be found just 12 miles to the south.

As guests enter the cottage, they are greeted by a generous kitchen area, which is both well-equipped and attractive, with a host of useful appliances. There is a breakfast bar, the perfect spot for the grown-ups to enjoy morning coffee whilst the little ones enjoy breakfast on the corner benches and table in the adjacent dining room. The lounge boasts comfy corner sofas, a Smart TV and a beautiful wood burner designed for warmth on the chillier autumn evenings. The dining room also has a wood burner and an attractive area perfect for cosying up and reading a good book. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC. Heading upstairs, a generous landing (with optional sofa bed, for additional guests by arrangement) leads into the three bedrooms, two of which feature a king-size bed, and one with twin beds (one of which is slightly raised), ideal for smaller guests. A chic bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle completes the upstairs accommodation.
Outside, there is an attractive paved courtyard area, with a wooden table and chairs, plus a variety of benches allowing guests to make full use of this suntrap. There is also a small garden area to the front, enclosed by attractive picket fencing.

Lovely location. Comfortable and warm house. We had 4 staying but capacity was for 6. Very comfortable beds. We cooked over the Christmas period. Kitchen could do with more mixing bowls and serving plates. We had to provide our own toiletries. It was annoying that we had to even shop for dishwasher tablets as only 3 were provided for the 7 days.
