The Granary was an excellent place to stop. Not far from all the local amenities. A very quiet & relaxing place to stay. Beds were comfy & there was plenty of space. We took a boat ride to Farne Island & happy to see puffins, which had just arrived. Plenty to do not far from the doorstep! We stayed here with our daughter, her partner and our two granddaughters. This is a very pretty, fully detached, clean and well maintained house. The downstairs space is wonderful and the girls had plenty of room to play. The second double bedroom is small with space only on one side of the bed for a small cupboard and a gap of about 6 inches on thRead moree other side. Wardrobe but no chest of drawers so the only surface is the window cill. We found it a bit awkward but still enjoyed our stay. Hide

I booked this cottage to have a rest and the peaceful situation was appreciated. The walking distance to the town main area is doable but I dont recommend trying to carry groceries, there is ample car parking in Seahouses. Property is great very spacious and lovely location. Needs cleaning issues addressed and checks done and information in a folder in order so you can read it , a welcome pack would be nice as most Property's do this, windows need child locks as they are very low.
