Lovely cottage, set within the pretty village of Pirnmill with fantastic sea views overlooking the Kilbrannan Sound towards Kintyre on the beautiful north-west coast of Arran. The shoreline is a beautiful stretch of sand and pebbles that is perfect for a stroll or a picnic. Those looking for more of an adventure, hike up Goatfell, 15 miles away, or travel 10 miles across the island to see the Machrie Standing Stones. It is the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful island, with plenty of opportunities for water sports such as kayaking, and paddleboarding from the doorstep. Enjoy a trip to Brodick (17 miles) and unwind at the Auchrannie luxury spa, play a round of golf at Brodick Golf Club or visit the historic Brodick Castle and its beautiful garden. Arran is known for its delicious food and drink. Be sure to try some of the local specialities, such as Arran Cheese or Arran Whisky.

Step inside from the front porch into the spacious lounge/diner. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Head into the spacious dining area, set the table, and enjoy a family meal together prepared in the well-equipped kitchen which is the perfect place to cook up a storm. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Heading upstairs, find two light and bright bedrooms – one king-size and one twin room – along with the family bathroom.

Stepping outside, the front patio is enclosed with views over the bay; enjoy the peace and tranquillity or dine alfresco at the table and chairs provided. The rear garden is tiered with stairs and mature shrubs and is not suitable for unsupervised small children, however, there is plenty of space for play on the front lawned area.

A lovely cosy and warm cottage. Well equipped and very clean throughout with good quality, fresh bedding. Parking location is about 20 metres away. The complimentary bottle of wine was most welcome!

The cottage feels like home (or maybe better!) Very comfortable, fully equipped, clean and cosy. It was so nice, we would have liked to stay longer. It's very close to the sea and our children spent a lot of time looking for special pebbles, of which there are plenty (before we went home they had to return them all to the beach). Outside all one heRead morears are the sea, the birds and the nearby streamlet. There are nice walks to be made in the vicinity and the village shop has most things you need. Hide
