Beautiful property idilic location probably the best one we've stayed in. We didn't cook apart from breakfast but there was absolutely everything you would need if you wanted to. Very secure back garden so even our chihuahua couldn't escape! The masons arms was very close we went for a couple of meals there very accommodating for dogs. The cottage was situated in a very pretty village that was near to many attractions in the North Riding of Yorkshire. We live only an hour and a half away so it was perfectly situated for us to visit places that we know but are now too far for us to visit in a day.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village. Spotlessly clean throughout and all amenities that you could want were catered for. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We would happily return again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Perfect cottage in every way! Beautiful decor throughout, and so warm and cosy with the underfloor heating and the easy to use woodburner. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. Lovely place, care and attention gone into furniture and fixtures, the underfloor heating and log burner make it feel super lux. Local farm shops, Booths and Appletons in Ripon all mean you are going to eat/drink only the best!

Lovely cottage in a very pretty little village. The cottage is well equipped and laid out with a great outdoor space which was safe for our dog. Plenty of inside space and a lovely big kitchen. The view from the kitchen window, across the stream to the gorgeous cottages, was a delight each day. The village is well situated for reaching Ripon and HaRead morerrogate. Beautifully converted cottage, lovely soft furnishings, fabulous kitchen and right at the heart of Bishop Monkton - we did not want to leave! Close to all the places you would want to visit like Harrogate, Harlow Carr, Skipton Castle, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey, Settle and Grassington. The bungalow was pleasant to holiday in. The kitchen was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the underfloor heating worked well. We enjoyed the view of the house and garden opposite on the other side of the stream. Although a car is useful there is a bus stop nearby. Whilst being well suited for able bodied people the Read morebungalow presented difficulties in the bathroom and the steps at the front and rear for me. Hide

The cottage is a detached bungalow with a lovely enclosed courtyard and has secure parking behind locked gates. The interior of the cottage is well planned and the equipment and furnishings are high quality

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is really comfortable with everything you need. The yard at the back is great for a dog - fully enclosed so great for running around, and hard standing so no mud.
