Set just off the South West Coast Path, it’s easy to explore hidden coves, rugged cliffs, and some of the area’s most scenic walking routes straight from your doorstep. Within 10 miles, you’ll find surf at Sennen Cove, paddleboarding at Porthcurno, and golden sands to stretch out on. Food lovers will enjoy the local seafood and farm-to-table fare in Newlyn and Penzance, along with locally brewed beers and a mix of traditional pubs and high-quality restaurants. I

nside, The Dovecote offers the feel of a private, design-led hotel suite – with open-plan living and thoughtful, artistic touches. The space features a large king-size bed, a comfortable modern sofa, and a multi-fuel burner to warm up after a day on the coast. The walls are decorated with original artwork created by the owner, adding personality and a strong sense of place. The en-suite shower room is accessed through distinctive gothic-shaped stained-glass doors and features a generous walk-in shower, copper basin, and a glimpse of the sea from the window. The compact kitchen area includes a Wonder Oven – combining an air fryer, grill, oven, and more – along with a decent-sized fridge with an ice compartment. While the cooking space is limited, it’s well-equipped for preparing light meals during your stay.

Outside, you’ll find a quiet, secluded decked area with a private hot tub – a peaceful spot to soak and unwind under the stars

Great location, this property is ideal for a romantic break. It has its own walled garden area with a hot tub, there is a stove in the fire place for that end of an evening fire to enjoy. The host greeted us on arrival, and is easily contactable , if required. Absolutely fantastic place to relax and recharge your batteries, everything about the Dovecote is special. You have a remote cottage on a cliff fantastic views and scenery, brilliant walks to go on and a lovely hot tub to come back to relax in. And Penzance town centre is a 5/10 minute taxi ride away. I would also recommend having a food delivery fRead morerom the Taj Mahal best chicken balti ever. The cottage is so relaxing and you feel like it's your home. The Dovecote cottage is simply like something out of a film set ! Its just beautiful inside and out ! My partner and I loved every minute of our stay there and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants perfection and peace relaxation and happiness ! We will deffo be visiting again .

Very welcoming and communicative hosts. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Very small fridge (as noted on website) and no oven but a hob is available on request. The BBQ was excellent!

We spent the most amazing 4 nights, on arrival we were greeted by the owner who very kindly offered us the opportunity to stay in one of their other cottages, due to the weather and the cottage we had booked having an uncovered hot tub, they told us to look around both and that we could decide. Cottage is breathtaking as is the quirkiness of the place. Amazing secluded garden m, with sea view, with a sunken hot tub. The bed was better than our own (& we have a tempur!). We spent 3 nights at the Dovecote, it was amazing, such a lovely warm welcome with such beautiful additional touches from the owners, it was warm cosy, spacious, the fire was gorgeous, the bed was really comfy and the hot tub was exquisite! The area of penzance was wonderful with great fish and chip shop, supermarkets and pubs for nice meals out! The cottage is lovely and the view from the back where the hot tub is are beautiful sea views, the bed was very comfy but I thought the sofa was to low to sit on probably because I have a bad hip ,we but all in all we had a lovely little break there and Phil and Zoe were lovely .

Amazingly beautiful place and surroundings, the little touches of lighting candles, rose petals on the bed and some bubbles on ice made it that bit more perfect. My wife and I enjoyed soaking our troubles away in the hot tub, bathed in blue skies and just the sound of birds and bees, so tranquil. Thank you so much.
