A really lovely holiday cottage. Very clean on arrival and supplied with everything you need for an enjoyable break. I agree with what other commenters have said about the size of the accommodation, it is perfect for a couple, and doable for a family of four, but I agree it would be cramped with four adults. Compact but very satisfacory for two. We felt 4 people might have found it a bit cramped. Our host responded very promptly to our request for tea towels and was most friendly and helpful. The cottage was comfortably furnished and well equipped.

Clean, tidy cottage on the cosy side. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly with a lovely dog field only 30 seconds walk from cottage. I used the services of an excellent doggy day care, Barkeley Barks on Bristol Road, which my dog loved, when I needed retail therapy! A lovely cottage, close to main amenities. Wonderful welcome basket on arrival and a very comfortable stay. I would trade the dishwasher for a washing machine! as we were at the cottage for 2 weeks, it would have made things a little easier. Fully recommend The Old Cottage.

This is a very comfortable cottage in a lively village , with easy access to beautiful countryside. Staying there over Christmas, we were grateful for the tasteful Christmas decorations which gave a festive feel.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and was in good position for touring the area. My one complaint and I put this in the guest book no hand rail on the stairs leading up to bathroom and bedrooms.
