A short walk up from Brixham’s fabulous harbour, this charming coastal home is one of the English Riviera’s top coastal retreats. Famed for its wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as its beaches and coastal walks, there is plenty to do to keep the family busy here. There are several beaches within easy reach, including the town’s main Breakwater Beach, the peaceful St Mary’s Bay and Shoalstone Beach with its tidal pool. Further afield, the towns of Torquay and Paignton are both within 8 miles and are popular destinations with visitors that can be reached by foot ferry. Other attractions such as Paignton Zoo, Quay West and Woodlands Adventure Park are also close by to keep everyone in the family entertained.

The lounge/diner is situated on the middle of these three floors and provides two comfortable sofas, a warming electric fire, Smart TV and plush furnishings, creating a lovely vantage point from which to take in the ever-changing scenes of the harbour and bay below. A few steps down from the lounge, the contemporary galley kitchen is a light space with high gloss units and a range of appliances providing a stress-free stay. Returning to the ground floor, you’ll find the utility space which accompanies the kitchen’s appliances. Two of the three airy bedrooms are also situated on this floor; the twin room features an ornamental fireplace while the double has wonderful sea views. Completing the ground floor is a stunning family bathroom with a free-standing bath and walk-in shower. Last but certainly not least, is the final bedroom on the top floor of the home, an en-suite master bedroom which features a king-size bed and three large windows which frame the sea.

From the middle floor, guests can access the steep multi-level back garden which has a furnished terrace with a dining table and chairs, as well as a further elevated deck with table and bench seating. There is also a bench at the front of the home, an idyllic spot to relax in the harbour breeze with your favourite tipple in hand.

Well-appointed cottage with extensive views over Brixham harbour. Well-equipped and comfortable. We were only two people, so it felt a bit bigger than we really needed. Would be perfect for three couples or a family.

Amazing view - cannot be beaten. Always something to watch in the harbour and bay. Do not book this cottage if you have trouble with steps. There are 2 sets up from the road and the set up to the attic bedroom are particularly steep. But all worth it for the view! Knowing Brixham well we expected lots of steps and a parking nightmare. Silver transit parking over the rear gate added to the fun! Parked in Great Rea Rd so not too far and handy for the CoOp. Description of this cottage and photos attached are simply not the reality of it. Both ground floor bedrooms are very dated, smelly and in need of refurb -we couldn't sleep there and ended up sleeping upstairs.
