Walk a short section of St. Oswald's Way to reach mediaeval Warkworth Castle (1.3 miles) and explore the village's shops, cafes, and restaurants. Amble's bustling harbour and seafood restaurants are just along the River Coquet, while picturesque Alnmouth (3.1 miles) offers a breath-taking seashore, golf course, and quaint village high street with local amenities. Alnwick Castle and Gardens (6.3 miles) and Craster harbour (10 miles) with its coastal walk to Dunstanburgh Castle provide memorable day trips.

The perfect stay. Such a beautiful cottage and so well equipped. The ease of getting to the beach and coastal paths on foot was perfect as well as being well placed to explore further afield in the car. Such a great base to explore Northumberland.

A lovely comfortable cottage in an ideal location. Very quiet, no traffic noise yet easy access to/from main road. Access to the beach and walks to Warkworth and Alnmouth. A problem with the oven - addressed immediately. Very happy, thank you.

This is a stunning cottage with it's location close to the beach the main reason why we chose it. We have never stayed in a cottage as well cleaned and maintained as this one - it was spotless! Tasteful furnishings without being over the top, comfy beds and beautiful quiet location. A short 10 minute walk via fields to the beach, it is an uneven/slRead moreoping walk which is fine for most people but older people/those with mobility problems could find it longer than 10 minutes as it is through fields. Very cosy little cottage in a perfect location. The back garden has views over the fields and down to the sea, which is a short (blissful) walk away. Every clean and comfortable and fitted out for to a high standard. The local art is a nice touch! Really enjoyed the local wildlife including hares which we saw every day. Fabulous cottage, very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard with a real homely feel and beautiful artwork. The kitchen was well equipped and beds very comfortable. The location is amazing with a fabulous beach just minutes walk away where you can walk to both Warkworth and Almouth. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful, well furnished, comfortable property in a beautiful location. The allocated car parking was next to the property. Our family of four adults enjoyed staying here; we loved being so close to the beach and using the private path to wander down to it. Bats and hares were a joy to see so close to the property. We would come again. The equipment downstairs was of a high standard. The setting was excellent and the evenings in the garden were idyllic, with views of the sea and incredible sunsets.

Absolutely fabulous cottage. Super comfy beds and great showers. Wonderful downstairs living space and sea views from the garden. Saw dolphins and puffins from the garden with our telescope! Very quick 10 minute walk on private path to a beautiful quiet beach. Sunsets over Alnmouth were stunning. Great location for all the sights. Supermarkets in ARead morelnwick a short drive.
