With perfect weather we made full use of the excellent swimming pool! The property is in a lovely rural location with extensive grounds ideal for just relaxing - perfect, if like us you have a dog. The owner Clare was friendly and helpful and we thank her for providing our holiday home. We can thoroughly recommend the Mayfly, near Stockbridge and wRead moree also dined well at the Plough Inn Longparish and the White Hart, Stockbridge. Course fishing at the Golden Pond Fishery at Fullerton was excellent. Hide

Beautiful, peaceful position with plenty of walks from the door. Swimming pool is an added perk. The village shop and staff were so friendly and helpful giving us a map of the area with suggested walks and telling us about Stockbridge, a small town only 15mins away with some excellent pubs for lunches.

Lovely setting but would like to state that the 2nd bedroom is very small no storage or mirror. Stairs are very steep and tricky to get up and down. Also the fact we had to take rubbish with us found that very odd.

A lovely remote bolthole to get away from it all! Beautiful views and such a treat to have your own private swimming pool. Claire the owner is so friendly and accommodating too. Definitely recommend for some secluded bliss!

This is a lovely property, the grounds and pool are amazing, but the garden itself needs a good tidy up, broken and rusty patio furniture removed. There is loads of potential but it is not what we consider as Luxury! A few personal touches (dog bowl, pint of milk!) and a deep clean would make this a stunning retreat! We were fortunate to have sunshRead moreine so made good use of the pool which is very well maintained. Hide

A lovely private, comfortable property and our dog's idea of heaven. Plenty of walks straight from the property across the garden/field and out onto a footpath, 1.25 miles across fields to the shop and pub and in the other direction the common. Hoping to return in the summer when we can make use of the pool. Loved it!

A beautiful peaceful setting with all the comforts needed for a restful break. Thank you Clare for accommodating us and our little dog at short notice and being so flexible on the date too. We fully recommend this cottage and the amazing grounds it sits in.
