This holiday home is 1 mile from the centre of Balloch, which offers a good choice of places to eat, drink, and shop. The border of the alluring Loch Lomond is 2 miles away; it has a range of activity centres that offer paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking, archery and water skiing. Local visitor attractions to enjoy includes TreeZone, the Bird of Prey Centre, and the Sea Life Aquarium, all of which are within a couple of miles and worthy of a visit. The stunning Balloch Castle Country Park is 1 mile away and home to the Loch Lomond Highland Games each summer. Besides the majestic castle, you can marvel at Balloch Estate’s Fairy Glen, Chinese garden, woodlands and parklands.

Enter into the hallway of this stylish and spacious property, where you can hang coats and kick off muddy shoes. Follow the hall through to the comfortable open-plan lounge/diner, relax on the sofas and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV, or dine around the large table that seats eight comfortably overlooking the garden. Continuing back through the hallway, you are then met with the well-equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Open the French doors leading directly outside while enjoying your morning coffee at the breakfast table. Continuing back through the hall you will find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, and three light and bright bedrooms one king-size, one double with an en-suite shower room and WC, and one twin.

Venturing outside there is a communal pathway running along the back of the courtyard, and across from this is an enclosed patio area with a wonderful hot tub, bespoke gazebo with seating and charcoal BBQ. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am – 10pm daily. There is parking at the front of the property in the courtyard for three cars.

We stayed at no3 Lomond courtyard 14-18 October. Fab cottage with great facilities! Local to Balloch for shopping, eating, walks, etc. hot tub was fantastic and cleaned daily. Full size fridge, freezer, washer, drier and cooker which was like home from home for convenience.

Great accommodation, everything you could ask for. Plenty space for 6 adults 1 child and a dog. Having secure outdoor space was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and return when visiting the area. Had read other reviews saying Wi-Fi was not good, we had no problem with it.

An outstanding property, location and layout. The photos do not do it justice. Huge rooms with all mod cons. This was more of a house than a holiday let. The owners were very helpful and we had a wonderful stay.
