Local attractions include the Newark Air Museum (1.5 miles) Newark Castle (3 miles) and the National Civil War Centre (2.5 miles). The stables are ideally placed for visits to the many events at Newark Showground including the famous antiques fair. Coddington is also conveniently placed for visits to attractions slightly further afield including Southwell Racecourse, and Southwell Minster and the Workhouse (both 10 miles). Visit the home of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest, during your holiday, or head to Sherwood Pines, Rufford Abbey, Clumber Park and Thoresby Park, all within 20 miles. The historic city of Lincoln is 20 miles away with an impressive 11th-century castle and famous gothic cathedral, not forgetting an array of independent cafes, restaurants, and pubs to explore.

Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers a social space to chill out with good company. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Relax on the corner sofa in front of the Smart TV or come together around the dining table and enjoy a celebratory meal. Wander through the hallway which offers triple patio doors opening up onto the garden – letting the light flood in and making the most of those countryside views. There are two king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can both be made into 2’6" twins on request). Each bedroom has its own en-suite; one with a bath, enclosed shower and WC, while the other has an enclosed shower and WC.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers a wonderful hot tub, BBQ, corner sofa and a doggy shower with delightful views over the fields grazed by horses. There is off-road parking for three cars. This property has a private water supply.

This is great place super dog friendly in a quiet location. Lots of walks and couple of pubs near by and just off the A1 / A17 would stay again!

We booked a 7 day holiday whilst we had building works carried out. I have severe anxiety and was apprehensive about being away. I should not have worried, as soon as we arrived I felt the worry and stress disappear. The stable conversion has been completed to a high standard with a real homely feel. Had a really lovely week at Little Hoots with our 2 dogs. Went to Stapleford Woods most days ( 7 min drive), which was lovely). Nick, the owner, told us about a dog walk which we didnt need to drive to just past the car park of The Plough pub (on the opposite side of the road), is a public footpath which leads to a nice big field.. perfect for a moRead morerning dog walk when you dont want to drive! The property is in a handy spot for visiting many interesting places. It's also very peaceful in location and you can get excellent takeaways from the local pub a couple of minutes away! A good place for a break away.

Lovely cottage, good location. Clean and comfortable. Ideal for 2 people and possibly 2 children but not so good for 4 adults. Not enough comfortable seating and one of the seats at the table was a bench. As there was only 2 of us this was not a problem and we would be happy to return again.

Beautifully designed cottage, finished to a high standard throughout. Supplied with everything you could need. Garden looked out onto a field housing horses making it feel very private. A luxurious hot tub was supplied. The owner recommended two local pubs, both within 5 minutes walking distance, which are excellent. Fantastic and friendly owner. we received a welcome pack on entering the property, every thing was fantastic, both bedrooms had ensuite , which was definitely appreciated by my daughter, also a television. The perfect getaway. Cottage was so clean, homely, and felt brand new. Would live there if we could! A nice touch was a bottle of milk, juice, bread, and doughnuts waiting for us on arrival. 2 Pubs in the village which both serve excellent food and beer.

A wonderful place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We enjoyed hearing the birdsong and also watching the rabbits and hares scampering across the neighbouring field.
