This luxurious lodge is nestled in an elevated position on a beautiful working croft, with breathtaking views over the MacLeod’s Tables and the Trotternish Ridge. The island's capital of Portree is just 12 miles away and has a selection of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and excellent leisure facilities including the Fingal Centre with a swimming pool and gym. Enjoy a wildlife boat trip to spot puffins, seals, sea eagles, and take a tour of the Talisker whisky distillery, or explore Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, both within 28 miles. You're sure to be inspired by the scenery that surrounds you with lots to see and do.

On entering this beautiful lodge, step into the handy front porch where you will find a washer/dryer – it is also the perfect place to leave your outdoor boots and shoes. The porch leads into the hall, through to the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the amazing local area – watch a movie on the Smart TV or listen to your music on the Bluetooth soundbar. Cook in the well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Enjoy a family meal in the comfortable dining area while admiring the spectacular countryside views, and open the French doors that lead out to the fully enclosed balcony. Continuing back through the hall you will find the delightful double bedroom and well-appointed en-suite Jack and Jill shower room with WC (also accessed from the hallway). Next is the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with an en-suite shower room and WC. Both rooms have a Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker.

Outside, the fully enclosed balcony is perfect for al fresco dining or an evening stargazing across the MacLeod’s Tables and the Trotternish Ridge.

Everything about this property was excellent. Very clean, comfortable and a real pleasure to stay in. The kitchen was excellently equipped and the views were amazing. Mr Nicolson the owner was helpful and friendly.

Not only did we enjoy the extraordinary weather during our stay but we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the accommodation. Everything is provided to an excellent standard. The milk, eggs and treats were most appreciated. The views and surrounding area made this a beautiful place to visit and explore Skye. Portree is a short distance away and has aRead morell the facilities you need. The coastal drives and ferry to Raasay ensure that you can see the beauty of the island. We will definitely return! Beautiful cottage, has everything you need and more. Extremely tidy and cosy. Locality is great to most places. Beautiful friendly owners who are accomodating in any way. Highly recommend, fantastic. Gift basket was a bonus, everything has been thought of.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we could ever need. The host was so warm and welcoming and even let us feed his sheep. We would love to come back again and stay longer next time. I highly recommend it!

The lodge property was, without doubt, the be holiday property we've ever stayed in. It was extremely well equipped, very clean and comfortable, and with views that were just wonderful. We would have no hesitation recommending it to others who want to enjoy the beauty of Skye from a fantastic base. This cottage is well off the main road. Its quiet. Its peaceful and it is very modern. The owner is very thoughtful and friendly and all in all its a idilic sport to explore the Isle of Skye from. Will no doubt visit again, but its a long way to drive from the midlands. Suggest fly drive.

We had a very enjoyable week staying in Sealladh Alainn, the lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The position of the lodge in the glen was perfect with wonderful views. It was so peaceful and lovely having sheep and lambs as our neighbours. Thankyou for the delightful welcome pack, we enjoyed the many items throughout the week. It looked even better in real life than on the website which is not usually the case. The photos show amazing views but they are even better when there. The property is spacious and extremely well equipped. Everything was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. The combi boiler meant constant hot water and it was always cosy and warm. The owner was easy to deal with and the cottage was wonderful for our travels, which involved many areas of Skye. He left the cottage well supplied with foods, soaps, towels etc. we even saw white tailed eagles early one morning. Couldnt have asked for more

Mr Nicholson is a perfect host as the cottage was well equipped for our needs with all the surprises. very thoughtful. The location is perfect as the cottage is surrounded by the beautiful countryside. From the dining area we saw a dog herding flock of sheep, a real treat!
