It boasts amusement arcades and is most popular for its surfing, with a large expanse of sandy beach and surf school – it’s the perfect place to take a picnic and spend the day building sandcastles or catching a wave. Nearby, you can take a bike ride on the Tarka Trail which has 180 miles of off-road cycling, perfect for admiring the North Devon countryside. More local attractions for families are available such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, North Devon Wake and Aqua Park, and the Big Sheep adventure park.
