Ideally located in Cambridgeshire, close to all major road networks but surrounded by fields, this wonderful farmhouse is the perfect property for friends and family who want to come together to celebrate a special occasion. Wildlife lovers will love Hammerton Zoo (4 miles) and if cycling, walking, and water sports are something you enjoy, then head to either Grafham Water (15 miles) or Rutland Water (33 miles). The annual Little Gransden Air Show (24 miles) in the summer features classic planes, cars, and the Red Arrows. A little further afield, visit the beautiful city of Cambridge (31 miles) or for a wonderful day out, head to the historic town of Stamford (20 miles) where the annual Burghley Horse Trials take place.

Enter through the private gates which lead you into the parking area of your fabulous, characterful holiday home. Park up and head into the property, via the rear porch door, into the boot/utility room, kick off your boots and hang up your coats, there is a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. To your left is the kitchen/breakfast area which boasts everything the chef of the group needs to prepare a hearty meal for loved ones, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast room has a table and chairs and is the perfect spot to enjoy a cooked or continental breakfast to set you up for the day. Across the corridor a snug room that is perfect for the children to escape to with comfy armchairs books and games, a second snug with desk perfect if you need to catch up on some work, or an additional room to relax with sofa and chairs. There is a lounge offering comfort and a lovely spot to kick back and relax, the six-seater sofa and armchairs surround a feature fireplace in the lounge along with a Smart TV, so if the weather is questionable, you can catch up on your favourite box sets. Completing the ground floor is the dining room with open fire, offering a more formal space for you all to come together to enjoy an evening meal or Sunday lunch. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms. The master bedroom is a super-king-size with a Smart TV and en-suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is king-size, and the final bedrooms are both twin rooms with zip-and-link beds (that can be made up as king size on request). one of which has an en suite shower room. All bedrooms come with plenty of storage space for your personal items and clothing. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Should you have an extra guest or two who want to visit, the fifth bedroom has a single trundle day bed.

Outside, you have plenty of enclosed garden with a large patio area complete with a table and chairs. There is also a private hot tub. There is ample private off-road parking for four cars.

A beautiful property with a great hot tub and plenty of space. We had a lovely stay in the peaceful countryside. Good communication from the owners made everything very easy.

Norfield is a lovely property, it was warm, has large rooms and is well furnished. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have views over fields. The kitchen is well equipped and the Wi-Fi was reliable. We had two children under two in our party who enjoyed having lots of space inside and out to run around in. Booked for 8 adults and 1 child. Plenty of space for us and more Really beautiful house in a picturesque setting. We were able to hear the horses whilst sat in the hot tub! The personal touches of fresh bread / milk / cake etc. made it that much more special. I would highly recommend this property

A large modern and bright house. Plenty of chillout spaces to relax/read. The kitchen is well stocked with most appliances and tools for a comfortable stay. The owners are helpful and friendly and available to put right the couple of things that needed attention. The highlight of our week was the spa which was enjoyed by the adults during our stay.Read more I would recommend this house for adults and older children, although there are sleeping/eating options for babies and younger children. The facilities at Norfiled are ideal for a family gathering. We enjoyed a week together utilising the large kitchen as the start to every day together at breakfast, and finishing the day with an evening meal in the excellent dining room. We had the most wonderful weekend staying at Norfield. The setting is beautiful, and the house is stunning! It had plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, and the hot tub is an added bonus. We will absolutely return and would recommend this house to anyone looking for a home away from home to share with family or friends!

This was a great find. Very spacious and comfortable. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the kitchen was well equipped. It's in a quiet and rural location but amenities are easily accessible nearby. Would recommend a visit to Cambridge which was lovely with local food / wine shops and lovely architecture as well as the usual high street shops. Norfield is an extremely spacious farmhouse in a lovely peaceful, rural location but with many varied places of interest within easy reach by car. We enjoyed visiting Ely and Peterborough cathedrals, Wimpole Estate and Rare breeds farm, Burghley House and Gardens, Stamford and Cambridge. Lovely and peaceful area, house nice and spacious. Good outdoor space. Lovely friendly horse which we were able to stroke. Nice to use the hot tub and garden furniture/bbq, weather permitting.

Truly stunning property in the middle of the countryside. Fantastic hosts who were really accommodating - even had a welcome hamper for arrival. House has been decorated to a really high standard and all rooms were immaculate. Fantastic place for group get togethers.
